Letter sent to Julia Irwin MP:
On behalf of the Executive committee and the members of the Muslim Business Network, I would like to commend you on the bold stand that you took today in not supporting the motion of celebrating 60 years of the state of Israel.
Your subsequent interview crystallized the main problem in that Israel has, and is still violating basic human rights of the Palestinians.
As Australian Muslims, we are encouraged by you taking a stand for justice and fair play.
With kind regards and best wishes.
